Rose Tea 50gm

Orthodox black tea, blended with rose petals dried whole.

Orthodox tea is processed the slow way — the leaf is rolled rather than shredded, which keeps it intact and gives a smoother, less tannic cup than the crushed tea most people are used to. You can see the difference in the jar: whole twisted leaves and visible petals, not dust.

The rose comes through as aroma first, then as a soft sweetness underneath the tea. It rounds off the edge that black tea can have when brewed strong.

How to brew

One teaspoon — about 2 to 3g — in a cup of freshly boiled water. Steep 3 to 5 minutes, then strain. Honey suits it better than sugar. Best served hot.
